The specimens - Please note that these are only brief descriptions of the minerals, the specimens are listed below 
with numbers. Also please note that most specimens have at least 5 or 6 minerals on them and you should be able to identify the "extras" from the 
descriptions below. Also check all of the cavities on the specimens 
          | ALLANITE-Ce | Small dark brown to black tabular xtls | 
          | BIOTITE | Dark green to black rounded book-like xtls often encrusted with a thin coating of Clinochlore | 
		           
          | CALCITE | Generally whitish thin platy xtls but occaisionally pale brown prismatic xtls | 
          | CHEVKINITE-Ce | Occurs as shiny black acicular needles embedded in the granite matrix and showing a reddish halo when 
		  detached from the matrix | 
          | FELDSPAR K & Na | Occur as Orthoclase and Anorthite lining cavities in the granite | 
          | FERRO-ACTINOLITE | Occurs as black xtls with feathery terminations and are zoned, ferro-edenite, ferro-richterite, ferro-winchite, 
		  katophorite, and riebeckite being the main constituents | 
          | FERRO-HORNBLENDE | Small black shiny xtls mostly with well developed terminations | 
          | FLUORITE | Mostly colourless but occaisionally pale mauve octahedral xtls, sometimes suspended on Hedenbergite fibres 
		  also occaisionally growing in exotic shapes due to abnormal growth along the "C" axis | 
          | HEDENBERGITE 1 | Light grey-green intergrown masses of acicular hair-like xtls | 
 
          | HEDENBERGITE 2 | Greyish-green to brownish prismatic terminated xtls often associated with the hair-like form | 
          | HEULANDITE-Ca | Colourless classic "coffin" shaped xtls | 
          | SPHENE | Generally very small biscuit coloured, often doubly terminated Sphene xtls also quite often suspended on 
		  Hedenbergite fibres |
